Meat floss is a popular snack in many countries, but it is not safe for cats. Meat floss is made from lean pork, soy sauce, and white sugar. Lean pork already contains sodium ions, and the added soy sauce brings a lot of salt (sodium chloride). Therefore, meat floss is a food with high sodium content. Metabolizing sodium can increase the burden on the cat's kidneys.

Meat floss also contains excessive calories. Regular consumption of large amounts of meat floss can lead to obesity in cats. Obesity can increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

Spices, such as thirteen spices and ginger, are also added during the production process of meat floss. For cats, these seasonings have no benefit.

For these reasons, it is not recommended for cats to eat meat floss.
